Thoddoo

Morne Seychellois National Park

Located in Mahe, the Morne Seychellois National Park is the largest in the country and is known for its rich biodiversity and is home to a wide range of plants and animals. It is made up of two mountain ranges. One area is lush rainforest, while the other has a hilly landscape covered with low-lying vegetation.

The park also has many endemic plants like the mangroves, found only on the Seychelles islands. The mangroves are one of the most critical habitats for many species of birds and animals living there or migrating through it during their annual migration patterns.

Additionally, the park is home to several other species, including giant tortoises, which can be seen at their breeding center within the park grounds. Several species of reptiles, such as snakes, lizards, and different types of geckos, live within its boundaries.

Silhouette Island

Le Morne Brabant

The mountain is located in the southwestern part of Mauritius and rises to 1,824 feet. The peninsula is a major tourist attraction due to its picturesque view and rare plants.

It's an old volcano formed by magma's eruption on the southernmost tip of Mahe Island. The mountain has been around for thousands of years and is known as "The Sleeping Giant." It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so you know it's pretty spectacular.
